At Hillstown Brewery I designed and fabricated this sack holder to allow 1 person to efficiently use the mill for crushing malt and filling sacks. Previously, 2 people were needed to use the mill. 1 person loading the mill, and 1 person to hold the sacks open and to stop them from falling over. Check the video to see how it operates. 

I had limited tools and materials to fabricate with at the brewery. I had a stick welder, a 4" grinder and a drill.. The materials I had were 40x40x2.5mm square tubing, 1" steel pipe and some 12mm plywood. It took 2 days from designing the concept, to having the working unit..
